“I would name my pet Agapi mou”: Caritas Cyprus Contributes to University of Cyprus Study on Multilingualism and Integration

Caritas Cyprus was pleased to take part in the University of Cyprus event, “Bridging Cultures, Embracing Diversity,” on 16 June 2026. As part of the wider Acculturation, Validation, Integration (ACVALIN) Project, Caritas Cyprus conducted more than 100 surveys with visitors to our Nicosia Centre, gathering valuable insights on language, migration, and social inclusion. At the event organized on the University of Cyprus campus, Constance Charles presented the findings and joined researchers, academics, and NGO representatives in discussions on how language shapes integration and belonging in Cyprus specifically and in multicultural societies generally.

We are grateful to the University of Cyprus team, led by Dr. Fabienne Baider, for this important collaboration.
