Used to working together in Nicosia, Caritas Cyprus and Dignity Center/Refugee Support Europe recently spent a day in Limassol visiting Agapi Cyprus and St. Catherine’s parish to find ways to strengthen cooperation among organizations supporting vulnerable communities. The group discussed current work, common goals and shared challenges and identified ways to collaborate going forward. Such relationships are essential to creating an island-wide network of support for those in need of information, aid and services. A highlight of the day was visiting Zalou Thrift & Charity Shop (Athanasiou Diakou 62, 3032 Limassol), a unique enterprise that combines social impact with style and sustainability and offers a range of quality items for every occasion and budget.
