Caritas Cyprus joined over a dozen other local organizations in publicly expressing grave concern over recent incidents of violence in the village of Chloraka in Paphos district. The statement was covered by the media and sent as a letter to relevant government authorities in an effort to show solidarity with those who condemn anti-refugee, anti-migrant rhetoric and are working to create a more inclusive and tolerant society on the island and in Europe.
