With support from around the globe, Caritas Poland is providing ongoing aid to Ukrainian refugees that have made their way to Poland and is working to support Caritas-Spes and Caritas Ukraine with humanitarian supplies for those displaced within Ukraine. Caritas’ 130 centers across Poland are providing almost 47,000 meals per day and over 500 trucks and vehicles have transported 7300 tons of aid (food, water, hygiene products, clothes and blankets) into Ukraine. Caritas’ international network, which includes Caritas Switzerland, the British CAFOD, Catholic Relief Services from the USA and other partners, has sent over a dozen experts to assist with establishing transportation channels and ensure coordination of aid.
