Elementary and high school students are often the change that we all want to see in the world. They are inquisitive and curious about the work of social justice organizations like Caritas Cyprus. Then they are empathetic and generous in their response to calls for action. They raise funds to buy diapers for vulnerable families at sporting events and collect donations at music concerts. They donate carloads of food and winter clothes to help the less fortunate face the cold of winter. Caritas Cyprus is thankful for the acts of local kindness by the good global citizens at the American International School in Cyprus, the Pascal School in Larnaca, the English School and the French-Cypriot School for their donations this year. Thanks to their contributions Caritas Cyprus is able to provide humanitarian assistance to hundreds of people living in poverty and facing the challenges of displacement. Bravo kids–our future leaders!
