Knowing how to respond in an emergency can make all the difference—especially when a child is involved. Pediatric first aid skills empower people to act quickly and confidently when infants and children need help, creating safer environments for families and building confidence and resilience.
Building on the success of its first First Aid at Work training, Caritas Cyprus organized a second First Aid course in June 2026 with a special focus on pediatric and child-related care. During an intensive one-day training, participants learned essential life-saving techniques under the guidance of an expert trainer from the St. John Association and Brigade Cyprus. Through hands-on practice and active engagement, they gained skills and experience in how to respond effectively in critical situations involving children—earning a recognized certification.
