In April 2023, Caritas Cyprus had the pleasure of working with MAM Beyond Borders Italy who brought its “Artemide Project” from Ioannina and Serres, Greece, to Cyprus. In group and one-on-one settings, women with obstetric needs and newborn babies were provided with health information and tips to help with pregnancy, delivery, breastfeeding and infant care. Sessions like these focused on female health promote wellness and address the needs of a particularly vulnerable group.
