The 2022 updated Asylum Information Database (#AIDA) Country Report for Cyprus has just been published! The Report was written by the Cyprus Refugee Council and edited by the European Council on Refugees and Exiles (ECRE). One of the Report’s findings is that Cyprus remains first in the per-capita number of asylum applications among the 27 EU Member States. The comprehensive report contains all the latest information on the asylum procedure(s), the legal framework, the reception and detention conditions and the content of International Protection currently in place in Cyprus.
