Social justice lies at the core of our work at Caritas Cyprus. Rooted in the belief that everyone, regardless of background, circumstance or identity, deserves the chance to thrive, we envision a more equitable world where human rights are universally respected and realized. Whether it is translating at hospital appointments, advocating on behalf of individuals who cannot do so for themselves or providing information or aid to those in need, we know that social justice takes place on-the-ground, one person at a time. On the World Day for Social Justice, we celebrate those who assist others, especially those left on the margins of society.
