It was a pleasure to take questions related to food aid from the students at the French-Cypriot School recently. While difficult to summarize how donating food in one place can tackle hunger in another or how aid finds its way to emergencies, the curiosity and awareness of young people is critical to alleviating hunger locally and globally. Caritas Cyprus is thankful to the students of the French-Cypriot School in Nicosia for donating a carload of food for families in need in Cyprus and for showing a commitment to learning more about the world in order to make it better for all of us.
