No to human trafficking during the Olympics

Athletes and spectators from all over the world will enjoy the opening ceremonies of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games on July 26, 2024. Together, people everywhere will celebrate friendship, respect, excellence and equality—in hopes of advancing peace and making a better world through sport. However, the risks of exploitation of people living in vulnerable conditions are particularly high during big gatherings. A network of 28 French NGOs “Ensemble contre la traite des êtres humains” (Together against human trafficking)—which includes Caritas France (Secours Catholique – Caritas France)—has come together to raise awareness of and combat the heinous crime that is trafficking in human beings.
