The Caritas Cyprus community celebrated the new year with a traditional Vasilopita cutting on January 15. Members of the Board, staff, volunteers and friends enjoyed an afternoon of fellowship, games and cake! Symbolizing the gold and jewels in the origin story of the Vasilopita, three coins—or flouria—were in the cake to bring blessings of good luck to those who got those pieces. May 2025—the Jubilee Year of Hope—be full of kindness and peace!
