Humanitarian pauses and temporary cease fires are insufficient to address the rising and tragic humanitarian needs and loss of life occurring in Gaza.
During the all-too-short truce, Caritas Jerusalem mobilized medical teams to work in three locations–Khan Younis, Deir Al Balah and Rafah—to provide basic medical services such as screening and blood tests.
Meanwhile Caritas has joined the other voices calling for a cease fire and supporting the cause of peace.
